Out of Shape

Wow just a 2 week break from exercising and I feel like I am starting all over again!!! My legs are shaky and my face is red as a tomato. Ugh! My goal is to get in to better shape before seeing my in -laws during fourth of July weekend. I know I have probably mentioned it before but I am always so concerned with what they think about me. The fact that Dh has about 54 nieces and nephews (I think that many, I can't keep up with them) really makes me feel horrible when we visit his family. We are the only ones with out children and it is so hard for me to handle it around them. Especially when they do group pictures of the grandchildren. I feel like hiding out in the car.

Anyways, back to exercising. I tried on my winter jeans I grew out of and they fit me again. Whoo-hoo! After I miscarried I ate tons of comfort food thus growing out of my clothes. Ultimately my goal is to be a size 6 by the time I am the big 30 in October. If I talk about exercising a lot it is because my family puts a HUGE emphasis on it. Seriously I grew up with very active exercising parents. So there's pressure to be in shape.

Well, I have to run and cook a very late dinner...I love leftovers :)

****Remember if this post sounds negative it's because I have PMS!

  2. I can feel your pain, we are the only ones in dh's family (married) with no kids, there are 42 with one currently pregnant. 2 still not married. ugh ugh ugh!

Don't get down on yourself though! The waiting and wanting will make you such a great mother, you'll never take those little ones for granted! God Bless.

  3. Go you! That is awesome! I haven't exercised in a week and I need to get back to the gym pronto! :)

I hate the "grandchildren/great-grandchildren" picture! Just go to the bathroom...that is what I do!

  4. That's great that you are exercising! It's something I need to start doing, I think it would help my mental state if nothing else. I do feel like I need to point out though that you are GORGEOUS and don't worry about what anyone thinks about you because they are probably just thinking that you are gorgeous and thin anyways!

  5. (30 in October - you make me feel ancient.) The exercising certainly gives you something to feel good about. My DH has picked it up, and I am so proud of him. It's at least one thing where we can make a goal and know that if we work hard enough, we will reach it (unlike IF). Kudos!

  6. Thanks for the kind comment on my blog :).

Ugh, I've been trying to exercise more lately too - I'm the "chubby" one in the family, so there's a little bit of self-induced pressure to get back into shape. It's crazy how much muscle I lost after sitting on the couch for months at a time with endo pain/surgery recovery and all that.

Good luck with your weight loss goals :)

  7. Moderate exercise is great so congrats on getting back on it! I definitely need to get off my butt more. But you are gorgeous and thin!! So in my book you don't need to loose any weight. I just read your last post and it had me in stitches. I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who just doesn't give a rip about charting sometimes. And I think you're brave for going guessing about the hCG timing! Happy almost ANNIVERSARY! I pray that you have a great weekend with your DH!
