Really bad news...

This has to be super quick post...

I am in CA because my Grandpa died last Friday morning. It was his birthday...we are all SO SAD about this. I will have to post more in detail later but I also wanted to mentioned my horrible P+6 results.

Progesterone: 7.7
Estrodial: 9.9

WHAT THE HELL? Last month my progesterone was 25.5 on P+8. This dosen't make sense. I told the nurse I was having REALLY bad pain on my right side during ovulation. It hurt to walk or sit down. What is up with that?
I am so upset about this I started bawling when I got off the phone with the nurse. This is so disapointing to me scince I had just taken an HCG injection the day before. I was expecting progesterone to be at least 25 and greater. The nurse had know idea why it was so low but suggested I have an ultrasound done to see what is going on. WTF? She is going to discuss this all with Dr. Hilgers so i have to wait a couple of days to get his opinion. I am just so utterly DISAPPOINTED that this cycle is certainly not going to be positive.

More to come when I can sneak away to the computer later on...praying for you girls and please pray for the respose of my grandpa's soul. He was a great man!

  1. I've been praying for you since I saw your FB status. I'm glad that you're with your family, at least you're all together.

I'm so curious about what Dr. H is going to say. I had some low progesterone levels when I was on HCG in the beginning. I had to increase the concentration of the HCG to boost my levels.

I wonder if you had a cyst burst as well. I've had two burst and the pain is incredibly bad. Can you request an ultrasound? The only proof that it was a cyst bursting was the u/s I had in the ER.

    Sending you hugs and prayers!

  2. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. :( Prayers for the repose of his soul and for the consolation of your family.

That's a really sad prog. level. How frustrating, especially since you had HCG on board. Can you get an u/s while your in CA?

  3. Praying for your grandfather's soul...may he be resting peacefully in heaven with our Lord.

Praying for you too. Hopefully Dr. H will get back to you soon and alleviate any worry you are having. Blessings.

  4. Did you hear back from Dr. HIlgers? Also - are you traveling with the HCG and keeping it cold. The month we left it on the dresser over night - my levels were low. It was as if we weren't even on anything. I called Kubats and they said, if its left out its not as strong. Just a thought.

  5. I'm obviously no expert, but couldn't your progesterone have risen a lot higher the next day, on peak +7? And your high level last month was taken on peak +8, so wouldn't that make sense? I don't know, maybe it has something to do when you take your shots. I obviously don't know how those work!!

That pain you described is exactly what I had this cycle and you know what happened to me! Not that I think you have a huge cyst and need surgery or anything! I'm definitely not trying to scare you! But it still might be worth an ultrasound.

I've been thinking about you guys, and praying of course. I hope yesterday went okay. Call me when you get back.

  6. I am SO sorry about your sweet grandfather! I know how much you love him. I will pray for him. I am sorry I am just now reading this but I was only just now able to catch up on blog reading!!

I am sorry about the peak + 7 level, too. I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. Can't wait to hear what Hilgers says.
