Yesterday I went to the lab to get my second set of HCG blood draw and to my disbelief they were CLOSED! Yes, that is right. I was in shock. Just a couple days before I had called specifically to ask what time they would be opened and they said 5:30PM and I was so happy because that meant I could go after work. Someone must have told me the wrong time though because they close at 5:00PM. I was so irritated to say the least because I really wanted to know what my numbers would have been at 48 hours apart. Now they are about 65 hours apart. I am not sure what difference that makes with the results, but oh well, nothing I can do about it now.
Other than this I kept waking up last night with weird poking feelings down low and period type feeling in my abdomen. Is that normal? I am not sure. I went to bed at 7:30 and tried to stop drinking liquids early in the evening so I wouldn't wake up so much and it kind of helped. I do feel so much better today though having caught up on some sleep. I called and moved my ultra-sound appointment to 8.1 weeks instead of 8.6. For some reason this sounded like a big difference to me but now while I type it it doesn't.
In other news we have been watching my sisters dog, Willoughby, for the last couple days. I just love dogs so it is nice to have another one in the house. I'll have to post pictures later :( I feel like my house is a dog pound right now, haha, because we have three dogs running around our small house. I guess I better get back to work. Have a wonderful New Years Eve!

1st set of results
The nurse called just a minute ago to tell me my first set of HCG results. They are 6003 which puts me right at 6-7 weeks pregnant she said. I told her that I will be 6 weeks tomorrow and she said I am right on track. WHOO-HOO!!!!!! I never made it this far in my previous pregnancy so I am just shocked that my body is working correctly. Thank you God!!! Oh my goodness...I am just so freaking excited! Keep growing my little baby! I think I'll just keep my ultrasound appointment now for 8.6 weeks. I am sure it will be here soon enough and things seem to be going along well...Thank you girls for all your prayers!
By the way, I weighed myself yesterday becuase I went to try on one of my favorite pairs of jeans and they don't fit...my butt has gotten huge so then I ran to the scale and I have gained 4 pounds. What is up with that? I really don't mind...it's all worth it but seriously 4 pounds already straight to my butt! haha, I am going to get huge if I don't watch it!

HCG Appointment**updated
I woke up this morning and called my OB-GYN office to schedule an appointment to have my HCG levels drawn. I had a dream I started my period which I know means nothing but it freaked me out! I just want to make sure things are still going well. I am 5w5d today and I just thought maybe I should check to see if my HCG levels are doubling or not. Also, I am going to move up my ultrasound appointment to be a bit sooner. I just can't take waiting 4 more weeks!!! It feels like eternity!
This is what I am thinking. Go in today and Wed. for an HCG draw and find out those results and then if they are going well then maybe I'll keep my ultrasound app. for nine weeks, but if they are questionable then I will up my app to 7 1/2 weeks. That way I can find out how things are going sooner than later.
I really think I have a lot of fears based on my last experience. Last time I was pregnant we went in at 6w5d and the Dr. couldn't see a fetus or a fetal pole. So then they didn't know if we were just to early and the tech. suggested I have an abortion because things didn't look good. It was such a nightmare!!!! Then I went in to have my HCG levels drawn and they were only about 1100 and then 1250...so they were barley rising. This is why I am kind of hesitant to think things are going smoothly for us.
I have been bonding with the baby and talking to the baby quite a bit I am just nervous about things. So far these are the symptoms I have: I am ready to cut my bra into a million pieces because it is so uncomfortable to wear right now!!! Some smells are really getting to me, I have been tired and irritable a lot, and I have to wake up to go the bathroom like 4-5 times a night. So maybe this means things are going well, haha!

Dr. D just called and said I could get my blood drawn so I am going this afternoon, yeah!

Merry Christmas! (advent prayer person)
Merry Christmas to all of you! I wish you all the best the Christmas day with many blessings to come!!!!
I have to make this post super quick since I am visiting with family right now but I just wanted to say who my Advent Prayer Person is....It is Shannon form A Friend of Gianna.
I just want you to know that I prayed for you everyday that God would send you your St. Joseph very soon and I asked Him to watch over you two until you are brought together in Holy Matrimony. If you're anything like my sister I am sure that day can't come soon enough :) Also, please keep a watch out for a little something I sent to you! Merry Christmas Shannon!
On a side note I am trying not to have to much fear and anxiety about this pregnancy. i was crying this morning though just so scarred that things are going to go wrong like last time. I know I should be enjoying this time and I really am...I just have some anxiety because I just don't trust my body to work right. What is my problem? Anyways I am trying to keep my spirits high and just enjoy this time.

P+19 Progesterone results
PPVI wanted me to re due my progesterone blood draw this last Monday so they could test the blood themselves. I just got the results back yesterday and my progesterone levels are 23, which is Zone 3. Because I miscarried last time they are being cautious and keeping me on the progesterone support 2x weekly. Which is certainly fine with me. I would much rather stay on the progesterone than go off at this point. Everyday I wake up and wonder if this is still real...or am I just dreaming this all up that I am pregnant. I guess I am just in shock still, well at least sometimes I am...other times it feels very real and all I can think about as that I am carry a little one with me.
Last night I went to GIMH house for a lovely Christmas celebration. She gave me the sweetest gift!!!! She was my prayer buddy this advent season, which I think she must have prayed for me A LOT, and she put so much freaking thoughtful into my gift. I had told her and AYWH awhile ago that I don't have a wedding album and how disappointed I am about this. So what do you know. She put together a wedding album for me!!!!!! Wasn't that thoughtful????!!!! I guess my sister and AYWH helped with some of it, but GIMH really just surprised me with this gift. I just love it. I'll have to post pictures of the album soon but right now i have to get my house already for Christmas!
Many prayers girls, xoxo.

Here is the story...
I finally have some free time to write about what I was doing/taking this cycle and all of the details that have occurred over the past few days. For starters here is a list of things I was taking this cycle:
1.Clomid CD 3,4,5,
2.B6 500mg daily
3.Pre-natles 3x daily
4.Probiotics 3x daily
5.Slow release T3 2x daily
6.HCG injections P+3,5,7,9
7.Estrodial P+1-P+12
8.Fertile CM CD9-P+2
9.Mucinex CD9-P+2
10.Cod liver oil about 1 Tbs. daily
11.Naltrexone 50mg. once daily
12.Baby Asprin once daily
13.Hydrocortizone 5mg 4x daily
14.Tums 1 per night (suppose to take with hydrocort)
15.Implantation herbs (2 days after ovulation for 6 days)2 scoops daily
16.Fu Ke Yang Rong Wan (Female Nutritive Tonic Pill)24 pills daily, 8 3x daily
17.Gui Pi Wan 24 pills daily, 8 3x daily
18.Plus acupuncture 2 days after O day
19.and an abdominal massage after O day (guess you're not suppose to do that after O day).
20. Plus I did the ENDO DIET since Oct.5, 2009. (Although the last three weeks were kind of sketchy). I did notice a huge change in my period though after a couple of months of doing this diet...hum!
So this is about it. It is so funny though looking back because after my acupuncture appointment (the first I ever had) the acu. man said now call me if you don't get your period. And I said if I don't get my period it will be a MIRACLE!!! He said no it will be "Chinese Medicine". Clearly it is obvious where his faith is, haha! Little did I know what God had planned. So on P+13 I took an OPK and it was positive. I didn't really think much of it. Then on P+14 I took two HPT's and they were both +. So I started to FREAK myself out that something was up!!!! (if you have been following my blog you would have known that) For me it is EXTREMELY unusual to make past P+14 so I just knew I should go get my blood drawn on P+15. Of course I was worried about whether it was just the extra HCG I took this time. I guess I put so much emphasis on that because of after battling IF for so long it just seems reasonable to find some reason why my + HPT would be wrong this time around because you just get used to not expecting a +.
PPVI took forever to get back to me for the blood draw order so I found an old one I had from last year and changed the date and photo copied it and then went and got my blood drawn. Now Dr. H. was sure it was a real pregnancy based on HCG levels of 177. I was still up and down all night freaking out about that stupid remaining HCG I gave myself (never again). My sister and Dh were more than excited so we went out to celebrate that night, Whoo-hoo! Then the next day I went and got my HCG levels drawn again. PPVI didn't mark down to have them tested just the progesterone so I marked on the boxes what I wanted to have done and then photocopied it once again, shhh! Anyways, once I got the results back, which felt like ETERNITY, I couldn't stop crying on the phone to the lab tect. I was a mess. I told her after 5 1/2 years this is just the best news!!!! Since then I felt on cloud nine, in shock, so relieved, happy, grateful, just a mixture of emotions. My sister of course brought over some gifts right away. A t-shirt that says "due in August", a maternity night gown, and a pregnancy journal. Wasn't that sweet. I just can't wait to start feeling sick...bring it on seriously. It would be so comforting to feel really pregnant. When is that going to start? Dh just says I am crany all the time...is that a symptom?
We told my parents on Sunday after Mass at my house. We were all having coffee and Louie said to my parents that he is sorry we won't be able to be here for Christmas but next year the THREE of us will be here with them. My parents both just looked at us and started to cry. It was such a special moment because I could see how much they wanted this for us. God has been so good to us this Advent season. I am so humbled by His goodness to me. I made my first ultrasound appointment for the mid. of January. I should be around 9 weeks. I guess I made it so late because I am very head shy about what happened last time with the miscarriage. (I went in to early for an ultrasound and they didn't know if things were wrong or if it was just to early which was just TORTURE)
I am praying for you girls and offering up any fears or anxieties I have with this pregnancy for you all. My heart aches for you this Christmas because I know how much we all want to be pregnant. Praying for you, xoxo!

Thank you girls!
Thank you girls for all of your sweet comments!!! I have to go in again on Monday and get my progesterone levels drawn since PPVI says they want to test them and not have my lab here test them. So I just have to go without prometrium for one night then have the bood draw and then I can start progesterone again. I can't wait to get this all straightend out. Otherwise I am just having some mild period type cramping and I have been taking everything I am suppose too. I also stopped by my acupuncturist office and he gave me something for cramping which i have noticed that they're not so intense since I started taking the herbs.
Also, it is nice that Dr. H.ilgers is taking a more aggressive approach this time around. he wants me to stay on the hydrocortizine (which I wasn't on last pregnancy and he thought that might have been the reason I miscarried) and also i am suppose to start an antibiotic, Zenthromicin (sp?) on P+ 25 and stay on it for 25 days I believe since he said I have had an infection in the past. At this point I am willing to try to do anything to sustain this pregnancy. I am going to continue the acupunture throught the first trimester, yeah...just because I really think that might have had something to do with me conceiving.
I have to run now...believe it or not I had to go over to work to finish the churh bulletins even though we just had a huge snow storm, crazy!!!!
Praying for you all!!!
