Cramps, snack food, and castor oil packs

Well I am on P+9 and I have been having some pretty bad cramps. This really can't be a good thing. I told Dh that maybe I need to give up my cheat days on this diet if I plan on seeing some major changes. My goal is to be cramp free and pain free before and during AF. I did find some great gluten free/dairy free mini chicken tacos at T.rader J.oes if anyone is interested in some YUMMIE snack food. They are delicious. Also, has anyone heard of the Magazine called L.iving W.ithout. It has some great recipes suggestions for those of us who are following an endo diet or a diet of avoiding gluten and dairy I believe. My dogs really enjoyed the magazine too because I came down stairs the other morning and it was in shreds :( Crazy dogs!!!

Anyways, tomorrow I should get my P+8 results. I am just praying they're decent since I didn't do that well with taking all my med.s this month. Does anyone know what the difference is with taking fish oil or cod liver oil? I am just curious because Dr. H.ilgers wants me to take fish oil but I have been taking Cod liver oil. Does that make any difference?

Other than this would you girls mind saying prayer for a special intention of mine? Thank you!!!!!!

My goal tomorrow is to finish all of my weekend choirs and plan for the next week of school so I can relax all weekend. It is ridiculous that I have to plan on cleaning my house before AF arrives and I am out for the count...I seriously just can't do much when I have cramps. Oh, has anyone tried using castor oil packs before to help with endo? I was thinking about trying this since I have been feeling so DESPERATE to be "healed".

  1. I am so sorry you have cramps. That is horrible. Especially after surgery!

I don't know but don't you take the fermented cod liver oil. That stuff I hear is like gold. :) I wonder if you could supplement both. I would tend to believe that fish oil is probably less expensive then cod liver oil. :) But I have no clue. I hear that fish oil is higher in DHA & EPA. But I have no clue what those are. :)

  2. It's possible the fish oil could be a mix of various fish. I have no idea what kind of difference that could make specifically.

  3. Here's a blurb from the Weston A Price website - "We do not recommend fish oil, not for babies nor adults, but high vitamin cod liver oil, which supplies A and D without giving too much EPA & DHA."

I know that the fermented cod liver oil is the cleanest, most natural way to get those vit.'s, so that's one of the reasons why it's more expensive than regular fish oil.
