10 weeks!

Yesterday I was 10 weeks pregnant finally. I feel like this first trimester is the slowest thing ever just because I want to be sure everything is o.k. it is funny how I just can't be care free about this pregnancy. i really think that after dealing with infertility for so long that it just trained me to think in a distrustful way about my body. As if I am more prone to think my body is working against me than with me. I hate thinking like that or even having to talk myself out of thinking like that.

I was watching this clip on the p.regnology site of a fetus at 10 weeks. It really is amazing to think that at this stage the fetus is actually moving around...I am in aw over this!!! I just can't believe I am making it this far. Last time it was at ten weeks that I miscarried even though the baby had stopped growing at about 5 weeks.

I have to say a "BIG" thank you to one of the bloggers out there who has been so encouraging wit sharing such positive information with me about pregnancy and birth. I just love the information you have given me...yeh!

Other than this not much has been going on just because I am still so tired! I haven't even been over to visit AYWH for lunch because I feel like I am just trying to survive the day....sorry AYWH :( maybe in a couple weeks I'll be feeling up to it :)

Seems like it's going by really fast as I read your posts..eventhough for you it seems like the weeks are slow. If tiredness is your only "symptom"..you are lucky. I've heard some real horror stories. I'm sure your friends understand your not having the energy for visits. I'm sure it's all very exciting. Blessings!!!!

I can't believe how beautiful your baby is right now! I remember going to my girlfriends 10 week appointment and literally crying and shrieking every time it jumped around. I was like OMG, I WOULD DIE FOR THAT, can you feel it etc...etc...The nurse told me no...hahahaha

It was so AMAZING to see!

You better be taking off next Wednesday to meet us for lunch or brunch or something... :)

Congratulations on 10 weeks! I know it is so hard to trust that everything is going okay, after going through years of IF and a m/c. But it sounds like all is going well and this is a huge milestone!

This is huge! I am so incredibly happy for you! I know it has gone slow for you (I remember all too well), but I feel like its flow-haha! Seriously, each day you will feel a little more excited and a little less worried as you check off those milestones. Not that you will ever totally let go, IF scars remain, but your amt of appreciation and joy at each step increases as well. I allowed myself lots of slack-I am tired, I am worried, I better go swing on my porch swing, take a nap, and eat some chocolate. LOL It was great for stress.

Yipppeeee for 10 weeks! When I come visit you'll be through your first trimester... a reason to celebrate I do think!!!

We have had a very similar journey. I had a blighted ovum in Oct.09 and I am now 10 weeks, 1 day pregnant! My blog followers don't know yet, because we are keeping it a secret for my MIL's b-day in Feb. But I thought it was neat that we are both 10 weeks!!! Congrats!

06/26/2004 Got married yeah!...TTC ever since! 01/2005 sonogram - insides look great. 12/2005 Dh SA is A-OK! 01/2006 My first pap smear- normal 01/2006 Progesterone test - Low, lutel Phase Defect 03/2006 Prometrium cycle #1 12/2006 Consult for Endo.-it's a possibility...(majorly in denial of IF) 02/2007 Pap smear + blood work. A O.K. (I am not sure what blood work was done though) 02/28/2007 HSG Tubes are clear. 1 st Laparoscopy. Endo Stage I & II, Cysts removed on overies, 80% Endo. removed/ 20% remaining on bowels and bladder 03/24/07 Prometrium cycle #2 BFN! 04/23/07 Prometrium cycle,#3 BFN! 05/22/07 Clomid 50mg, Estrogen, Prometrium, Pre-Seed, Mucinex, BFN! 06/16/07 Clomid 50mg, etc. round two, BFN! 02/04/08 Yeah! Finally got a date to go to Pope Paul VI Institute for a lap. and ultrasound series and "the works". Date for surgery. 02/08/08 Hormone testing begins for PPVI 03/03/08 Hormone tesing ends...saving money for test results 03/06/08 Dh's SA went well...nutritional supplement to help(Proxeed) 08/04/08 Finally some results of Blood test. Progesterone normal...Low estrogen levels pre and post peak of cycle. 08/20/08 2nd Laproscopy and HSG with Dr. Hilgers. Mild case of endo found and removed. Tubes are clear. Naltrexone (slowly increasing dosage), B6, Pre-natals, cod liver oil, antibiotics for both of us. No more coffee and alcohol :( 09/17/08 Naltrexone (slowly increasing dosage), B6, Pre-natals, cod liver oil, antibiotics for both of us, plus slow release T3, clomid 10/11/08 Naltrexone (slowly increasing dosage), B6, Pre-natals, cod liver oil, antibiotics for both of us, slow release T3, and HCG Injections on P+3,5,7,9, clomid, Fertile CM, antibiotics 11/08/08 Hcg injections, clomid, naltrexone, B6, FerttileCM, Mucinex, Cod liver oil, Pre-natals, antibiotics, T3 12/09/08 PREGNANT -low progesterone, have to take shots 12/18/08 Told my family and relatives. Everyone cried! 12/23/08 First ultrasound, no heartbeat 01/08/09 Confirmed blighted ovum 01/15/09 Miscarried naturally at 9.5 weeks. Busy researching IF. Please pray for us! Taking a ttc break until April 09. 02/09 just charting 03/09 just charting 04/04/09 ttc again. Back on everything as before: Hcg injections, clomid, naltrexone, B6, FerttileCM, Mucinex, Cod liver oil, Pre-natals, antibiotics, and T3...BFN! 05/02/09 Taking the same stuff, haven't beem able to give up coffee yet. Went to see thyroid specialist and switch to synthroid. BFN! 05/31/09 Asking Dr. Hilgers to be more aggresive with treatment..we'll see. 07/31/09 Hcg injections, clomid, naltrexone, B6, FerttileCM, Mucinex, Cod liver oil, Pre-natals, antibiotics, Slow T3, PLUS Estrace for next cycle to increase estrogen levels. Went off clomid for next cycle. 8/30/09 Back on clomid and now adding Hydrocort . Also, adding Estrodial on P+3-12 9/27/09 Finally hormone levels are rising to be high. progesterone and estrogen are now in the high range. 10/4/09 Post Coital test done with normal results. 10/5/09 Started Endo diet to help heal myself!!! 10/13/09 Dh has normal SA results. 10/16/09 P+7 results resulted as high again. Woo-hoo! 11/13/09 Another cycle of great hormone results. Now where is my BFP??? 12/10/09 Best P+7 results I have ever had! I really hope this means some good news!!! Also, added acupuncture, herbs, and abdominal massage to the list of things to try. 12/17/09 Finally Pregnant again!!! I am due at the end of August 2010. 08/19/2010 Lucy Marie born at 6:46pm. Weight 7 Ibs. 15 ounces. 20 inches long. Perfect in every way! 02/14/2011 Dear Period, Where are you? I am ready ttc again! 04/17/2011 Welcome back to cycling and ttc :) 1st cycle after pregnancy. NO CRAMPS! That has to be a good sign. 06/24/2011 First cycle review since TTC. Dr. H says blood results were very low. Probably messed up on P+7 day...what? 07/24/2011 BFP! Amazing! I am pregnant without any treatments! Only medication I am taking is Hydrocortizone 5 mg 4x per day! Thank you God. Due date April 2, 2011. 04/03/2012 It's a boy! Charles Louis Massett born at 8:00am, 9 pounds 1 ounce, 21 inches long! Precious in every way! 02/14/2013 Welcome back to cycling and ttc again :) 1st cycle after pregnancy. NO CRAMPS! I know that is a good sign.
